Happy 1st Birthday!

Today is Paige's first birthday, and I think Ava and I are much more excited about this than Paige is, of course. We are going to have a little party tonight at our house with some friends from church. Then this weekend we will see my parents and have a small party with them. And then in the middle of July we will go down and visit some of Ava's family and have another party. So my this time next month, Paige will of had 3 party's and more than enough cake, ice cream, and presents.

I'm sure we will take lots of pictures and try to video most of the party tonight. Once we have them on the computer, I will try and get some posted out here. So please check back soon.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day to all the Dad's out there. This was of course my first one, and Ava and Paige did their best to make it a special one. Ava found out and arranged for us to go to an Exotic Italian Car show on Father's Day afternoon. We got to see all types of cool cars...Lamborghini, Porsche, Fiat, Aston Martin, Maserati, Lotus, etc... Even though this was meant for me, I think Ava really ended up enjoying it herself.

Chicago Trip

Last week we headed up to the Chicago area for my grandfather's memorial service. While we were in the area we made a trip to downtown Chicago and to the Brookfield Zoo. We enjoyed most of our traveling aboard the train system that reaches out of Chicago to the suburbs.

Off to church

Here is just a quick picture we took last week before we headed off to church. Paige just turned 11-months old and has 6 teeth now, with 2 more that just broke through.

Memorial Day Weekend

For the Memorial Day weekend, we headed down to visit family, on both sides. We first stopped off in Caledonia, MS to visit Mamaw and Boompa. We had a good visit, and Paige got herself her first xylophone. After a few days there, we drove down to Castleberry, AL and saw GranPat and GranDad. While visiting there, some extended family members brought over some recreational vehicles. We all had a good time...especially Paige. She fell asleep at the wheel later in the afternoon.

Drive-In Movie & Redbirds Game

This past weekend we headed out Saturday night to the drive-in movies to see the new Shrek movie (Not as good as the first 2, in our opinion). But nonetheless we all had a good time.

On Sunday after church, we went with a group of friends from our Sunday School class to see the Memphis Redbirds play an afternoon game (Triple-A baseball). This fun weekend wiped out Paige.

Trip to the Zoo for Cannon's B-Day

On May 12th, Cannon had his 1 year old birthday, which we were all invited to. Cannon had his party at the Memphis Zoo, and we all had a good time. Below are some pictures from that day. The first is of Cannon and Paige sitting on a cow that was in the Farm part of the zoo. The next one is Paige petting a little baby Panda in the China exhibit. And finally we have Paige hatching out of an egg in the Farm area.

Paige @ 10 Months

We took Paige in for some pictures about a week ago. She did really well, as you can see in the pictures below. We had a long wait to get in for the pictures, but it was worth the wait.

Happy Easter!

We took Paige to see the Easter Bunny on Wednesday night. We thought she would do pretty well, based on the good picture we got with Santa. This however was a different situation. She was never really too sure about the Bunny guy...We think the big white paws kind of threw her off.

Paige also recently had her 9 month checkup at the doctor. She weighs 15.4 pounds and is 26 inches long. She is in the 5th percentile for size...so we are pretty sure she will probably grow up to be Ava's size. Even though her weight and height are small, her head circumference was in the 50th percentile. So maybe we'll have a brainiac on our hands. The doctor also found another tooth coming in. She she is about to have 5 teeth total.

New House

We've had alot of people ask us for pictures of the new house we got. So thought I would put a picture of the outside of the house here. We'll put out some pictures of the inside after we have moved. The new house is located in Arlington, TN...which is another suburb of Memphis. It is north east of the current area we live. The house has 4 bedrooms and a bonus room.

Sunglasses that fit!

We got some sunglasses for Paige that actually fit and stay on her face. So she has been wearing them out and about lately. This first pic was taken outside of church. Paige was waiving to people as they passed by the car.

Later that Sunday we went to the zoo and Paige continued to show off her sunglasses. You can't tell from this picture, but the real reason she likes sunglasses is because she can take a nap and no one knows. (except Mom & Dad, of course)

Gotta go Back in Time!

We were driving around the other day and came across this car sitting in the parking lot of a restaurant. It belonged to someone eating there. They had fixed this car up to look like the one from the movie. Pretty cool. Looked like it could have been used in the actual movies.
