IT'S BABY TIME!!!

Tomorrow is the day! We will be going to the hospital on Thursday morning at 4:30 AM to begin the process. Yes...4:30!!! Our doctor wants us there that early to make sure that we get a bed for tomorrow. She said that if other women come in who are in true labor, than they of course get precedence over the induced women. At least this means the baby will probably come a little earlier in the day.

We went to Ava's 39 week appointment yesterday, and she is almost 3 cm dilated and 75% effaced.

Please remember us in your prayers before going to bed...or you could get up real early and pray...either way works for us.

I will try an post some pictures as soon as possible. Depends on what type of internet connection, if any, I can get at the hospital.

Almost Baby Time!

We visited the doctor this morning, as Ava is currently 37 weeks along. The doctor measured her at 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So things are progressing, and we are getting more and more excited.

If the baby doesn't come in the next week or two, we have scheduled an inducement date for Thursday, March 6th. Please continue to pray for us and the newest member of our family.

We have a friend from church who is starting up her photography business...she came out to the house this past Saturday and took some pictures of Paige at 19 months, as well as some nice family and maternity pictures. Once again, I am slow to update....

Ever since this page has been blocked at my work, it is hard for me to keep this site updated...hopefully we can get around this obstacle soon. Here are a bunch of random pictures from the past few months. This first one is a group shot of us and some friends while at our church's fall festival...and a family picture Shannon took of us on her last visit, back in October.

Next we have some pictures that were taken around Christmas time. We spent some time at both sets of Grandparents and had a wonderful time.

Present Time!!! Paige definitely got a haul of good things this Christmas. We couldn't even fit everything back into the car for the drive home. Some items had to be brought up later in the month.

Also during the Christmas holiday I was able to make it up to Chicago with a friend from church. We went to see the Bears play the Packers at Soldier Field. Excellent game...especially since the Bears won!! The last picture was the view from our hotel room...you can see the stadium on the right hand side.

New Christmas Dress

This was taken on the first Sunday in December. Paige is wearing her new Christmas dress that Mamaw bought for her during Thanksgiving. She was all active just before I took this, but of course she calmed down when the film was rolling. But I still thought she was very cute!

Thanksgiving 2007

For Thanksgiving this year, we headed down to Caledonia to spend Turkey day with my parents. While we were there, Mom taught Paige to say all of her dogs names. (Jake, Spike, & Oscar). In this video, we were trying to get Paige to find Spike and Jake, who were behind us.

Here are two quick pics. One is off Paige just getting ready for another day. And the next is of a 5-month pregnant Ava and Paige with her hair all done.

Halloween 2007

For Halloween this year we went up to our church. They hosted a Family Fall Festival. It was like a carnival. Lots of rides, food, animals, and of course candy. Here is our little lady bug, and a couple of her friends.

Shannon's Visit

Also during October, my sister Shannon was able to come over for a visit. She got lots of time with Paige...pulling...chasing...and following.

While Shannon was visiting, my father was also able to come up for a day or two. We all went through a corn maze and shot a corn husk cannon.

During this same weekend we went over to the Memphis Zoo and then we all ate at the Melting Pot, which is a fondue restaurant. We had a great weekend!

First Bike Ride(in-tow)

As many people know, I enjoy finding deals in the Clearance sections of Target. Here is one I found back in October...a 3 wheeled stroller that can be attached to a bicycle. It will hold two children...each up to a weight of 50 pounds. Here is Paige going out on the inaugural ride.

It's A Girl!!!

We went to the doctor today for Ava's 19 week appointment and found out that our next bundle of joy will be a little girl. Ava and Paige were both excited, as you can see in the video.
