Bears Win!!

The Chicago Bears are finally going back to the Super Bowl!!! It's been a long 21 years since this has happened. We had a good time watching the game. Mom was visiting, so she stayed around until the game was in hand. Ava and Paige both took the time to catch up on some sleep. But after the game was over and we told Paige about the outcome... she was ecstatic!

Here are a few pics we took the past few days of Paige. She has really begun to find her smile...and definitely doesn't mind showing it off.

Zoo Trip

We have had some rather warm weather here in Memphis for winter time. A few days here and there that are in the 60-70's...but then the next day it may be a high of 29. So on one of the last nice weekends we had, we went up to the Memphis Zoo to see our polar bears and the 3 new tiger cubs, including a white tiger. We also got to see Ava's favorite, the Red Panda, climb down the side of a tree.

Paige's Dedication

The Sunday before Thanksgiving, there was a baby dedication service at our church. Both sets of grandparents (Gran-Pat & Gran-Dad Golden, Mamaw & Boompaw Lowry) were able to make it as well. We should have some other pictures from this soon, but for now, here is one that we got.

New Things

Paige got a new winter hat to wear and a Johnny Jumper.

Eating Cereal!!!

Paige has finally begun to eat cereal. Although it is not the 'magic cure for sleeping through the night' food everyone had been telling us about...it still is another step forward to growing up.

Last night went up to the mall and took Paige to see Santa. Paige didn't ask for much from Santa. We couldn't hear all of their conversation...but I'm pretty sure she will get whatever she asked for.

The Big Three Oh!

Well...it has come and gone and I am still alive. The big 30! Seeing how most of my 20's I felt like I was still 18 or 19...I'm hoping my 30's will feel like I'm 25 or so.

Ava had a surprise party planned for me on Nov 3rd. We had about 15-20 people over for a little get together. We had a real good time. Ava did a wonderful job at pulling this all together.

These first two pictures show some of the tombstones Ava's placed in the front yard on my special day.

Family Photos

Thought I would post a couple of the recent family photos we have had taken.

The first was taken at my parents house in Caledonia, on the front of their property near an old barn. My sister, Shannon, was the photographer here. She did a great job. We have a couple shots similar to this...but I don't think Paige really cooperated on any of them.

This next one was taken while we were on vacation at the beach with some friends in October. This one turned out pretty good. As you can see, Paige got excited for this one.
