Harvest Fest at the Zoo

During the Harvest Fest at the Memphis Zoo, they offer free rides for Zoo members...so of course we were there! Here are a couple of Paige riding some boats, the carousel, and Ava and Bella on the train.

Halloween 2008

Here are some pics we took at the Family Fun Festival at our church. Paige was a cow and Bella was a chicken...hence, "Eat Mor Chikin" .

Also here is one of Paige that was taken at her Mother's Day Out program, along with a picture we had taken while at the Family Festival.

Our First Time to Chuck E Cheese!

Paige and Bella had their first trip to Chuck E Cheese the other night. Grandaddy & GranPat went with us. We don't know who had more fun, GranPat, Ava or Paige. Here are some pictures that highlighted the evening.

Here's a cute video of Bella & Paige riding on a Fire Engine. This was Bella's first ride ever (actually her only ride to date).

First Day of School for Paige

Well...it's actually a one day a week Mother's Day Out Program...but the first time Paige has done anything like this, besides nursery at church. Paige will be going to this program every Thursday from 9:30 - 2:30. We had a slightly rough start, but she seemed to really enjoy her first day.

Bella's First Haircut

This past weekend, Bella got her first haircut while visiting Mamaw's. Nothing drastic...just evening out the back.

Sesame Street Live

Last night we went to Sesame Street Live at the DeSoto Civic Center down in Southaven, Mississippi which is only about 45 minutes from our house. Paige had a great time. Actually we all did! Even Bella seemed captivated, as least for Act I, she slept during Act II. Paige wore her Abby Cadabby outfit and Elmo bow just for the occasion. Here's a few pictures from the evening.

Paige's Rides

Paige and Cannon thoroughly enjoyed themselves riding all the kiddie rides. They rode the Bee, the Genie and even a plane! We asked Paige after her very first ever ride (the bee) if she liked it. She said "FUN BEE!!" So cute. Memories that will last a lifetime!

Family Vacation - Branson!

The first weekend of August we headed to Branson, Missouri with Damon, Jana, Cannon & Asher Johnson. We enjoyed our stay there so much! There is so much to see and do, just not enough time in the day to do it all! We stayed at the Welk Resort (as in Lawrence Welk) and had a very nice lodge. They ran out of space and had to 'upgrade' us - we lucked out for sure!! Look at some pictures of this rocking Lodge!

While in Branson, we visited Celebration City. This park stays open late and ends the evening with a huge fireworks show. Here is a couple pictures of all of us riding the ferris wheel. Paige nor Bella seemed scared to be so high. We enjoyed the sights of the city. Paige & Ava rode the Carousel together. Paige still loves carousels. We seem to find one where ever we go.

We also visited Silver Dollar City - a very family friendly amusement park. We saw a Veggie Tales show and afterwards got to meet Bob and Larry in person! Bella wouldn't take her eyes off of them! Paige found a cute house in the park that was just her size.

August Pool Party

Our friends, Rusty & April, have an awesome pool. We went over to their pool party a few Saturdays ago and had a blast!! Bella was so cute in her bikini! Paige loved the water, riding in the boat float and ladybug. It was a day to remember.

Guitar Baby

Four-month old guitar prodigy. She can even play with her feet!!!

Bella's First Cereal Meal

The first week of July, Bella turned 4 months old. So now she has been given the green light to try new foods. The doctor of course recommended to start her on rice cereal. She hasn't quite picked up the 'art of eating' yet, but she is trying.
