Family Vacation - Branson!

The first weekend of August we headed to Branson, Missouri with Damon, Jana, Cannon & Asher Johnson. We enjoyed our stay there so much! There is so much to see and do, just not enough time in the day to do it all! We stayed at the Welk Resort (as in Lawrence Welk) and had a very nice lodge. They ran out of space and had to 'upgrade' us - we lucked out for sure!! Look at some pictures of this rocking Lodge!

While in Branson, we visited Celebration City. This park stays open late and ends the evening with a huge fireworks show. Here is a couple pictures of all of us riding the ferris wheel. Paige nor Bella seemed scared to be so high. We enjoyed the sights of the city. Paige & Ava rode the Carousel together. Paige still loves carousels. We seem to find one where ever we go.

We also visited Silver Dollar City - a very family friendly amusement park. We saw a Veggie Tales show and afterwards got to meet Bob and Larry in person! Bella wouldn't take her eyes off of them! Paige found a cute house in the park that was just her size.

August Pool Party

Our friends, Rusty & April, have an awesome pool. We went over to their pool party a few Saturdays ago and had a blast!! Bella was so cute in her bikini! Paige loved the water, riding in the boat float and ladybug. It was a day to remember.

Guitar Baby

Four-month old guitar prodigy. She can even play with her feet!!!

Bella's First Cereal Meal

The first week of July, Bella turned 4 months old. So now she has been given the green light to try new foods. The doctor of course recommended to start her on rice cereal. She hasn't quite picked up the 'art of eating' yet, but she is trying.

I know we are way behind on keeping this site up to date with new pictures of all the happenings in the Lowry household...but hopefully these great pictures will make up for it. It may take a moment for the slide show to load, but it is worth it.

Busy Weekend

This weekend GranPat & GranDad came up for Bella's dedication at church on Sunday evening. But before that we tackled putting up a new shed in the backyard on Saturday. It took about 4 hours to put it together, and then another 2-3 hours to empty the garage into the shed.

Paige's Tour de Carousel

Over the last month or so, Paige has fell in love with riding carousels. Below is a colledtion of the carousels she has ridden and the people who ahve done it with her.

Baby-To-Go

This was one of the presents we received when Bella was born. Ava has really enjoyed this...and so has Bella, as you can see in the picture.

Wedding in Birmingham

Both Ava and Paige were in Ava's college roommates wedding in Birmingham. The ceremony was held at the Vulcan park at the top of the mountains. The park had a large tower with a statue of Vulcan. Here is a picture of us at the top of the tower, with the city behind us...and one of the wedding party.
