Shannon's Visit

Also during October, my sister Shannon was able to come over for a visit. She got lots of time with Paige...pulling...chasing...and following.

While Shannon was visiting, my father was also able to come up for a day or two. We all went through a corn maze and shot a corn husk cannon.

During this same weekend we went over to the Memphis Zoo and then we all ate at the Melting Pot, which is a fondue restaurant. We had a great weekend!

First Bike Ride(in-tow)

As many people know, I enjoy finding deals in the Clearance sections of Target. Here is one I found back in October...a 3 wheeled stroller that can be attached to a bicycle. It will hold two children...each up to a weight of 50 pounds. Here is Paige going out on the inaugural ride.

It's A Girl!!!

We went to the doctor today for Ava's 19 week appointment and found out that our next bundle of joy will be a little girl. Ava and Paige were both excited, as you can see in the video.

Ava and I were chosen to be apart of some new commercials at our church. Below is the final product. They will start to show this commercial here locally in the Memphis area.

Here is the latest batch of professional pictures we had done earlier this month. Ava and I even got in a couple of these.

Labor Day Weekend

This past Labor Day, we made a trip down to see Ava's parents and go to the beach. We brought along some friends we like to hang out with from church. On Saturday Ava's parents volunteered to watch Paige and our friend's daughter, Adelin, so that we could all go spend a day at the beach. On our way to the beach, we stopped at McGuire's Irish Pub for some burgers. Very tasty!

On Sunday afternoon, a lot of Ava's family came over for a get together. Shortly after everyone arrived, it began to rain...which we thought would put a damper on the day. Most didn't let the rain spoil their afternoon.

These last two shots were taken on Monday. Ava's father decided to take Paige on a lawnmower ride, and she had fallen asleep. By the time I got a camera out there, she we just starting to wake up. We also stopped at a Cracker Barrel in Birmingham on the way home and had the girls try out the rocking chairs.

Got to keep hydrated!

On Monday nights I play softball on my Sunday school class' team in our church league. Here is a couple pictures of Paige this past Monday enjoying the action. It was easy for Ava to keep up with her...Paige was carrying her sippy cup upside down and leaving a trail of water behind her.

Home Improvements

This past weekend I had a friend from my Sunday school class come over and help me install some recessed lights in on bonus room. The finished product looks real good and we are very happy with it. I'll try to get a picture of the end result out here soon...but for now, here are 2 shots of be cutting out the holes where the lights will go.

Backlog of pictures

With all the baby news lately, we have fallen behind on regualr pictures. So here is a slew of pics from the past couple months. To start off, here is Paige showing off her 4th of July outfit with Mommy.

Next we have a few shots taken at Ava's nephew's wedding in Brunswick, GA.

On that same trip to GA, we stopped in to see Grandma McDonald.

A few weeks later we made another trip over to Georgia and got to visit with the Ogdens, McDonalds, and Troyers. As well as Paige getting to ride her first tractor!

And finally here are just two other pictures. One is of Piage in her new dress all ready for church and the other is at a pool party. Paige wasn't too sure about the water at first.

New Addition

In case youhaven't noticed the new ticker on the top of our page here, we are expecting a new arrival. We found out that Ava was pregnant a few weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier. We have already seen the doctor and had an ultrasound done; I will try to get a picture of that up here soon. Ava's due date is March 11th. It will be here before we know it.
